Bishop Mary E. Adams, Ph. D., has a diverse ministry background and has worked within a broad scale of assignments. She has served as counselor, trainer, mentor, teacher with the Military Family Community and Chaplain Services and presently serves as Senior Pastor at Mt. Zion Cathedral, Fredericksburg, Va.

 

​Committed to preaching and defending the Gospel of Jesus Christ, she has authored six books, grounded in the foundations of the Lord; Beneath tthe Surface, Pursuing the Upward Call, The Best Days are Ahead, For Such a Time as This, Sounds of Destiny and On the Way There.

 

In her practical and endearing style, Dr. Adams guides us through the  journeys and trials of life, and the acceptance of our greater calling.

She is the author of, "Charli's Fantastic Day at the Park," with five additional books: "Charli's Rainy Day, Caring is Sharing, Yay You, Why Do Willows Weep," and "Princess Warrior,"  awaiting publication. In addition to her stories for children, Ms. Johnson is hard at work on a novel that through a series of unfortunate events connects a family living in southern Spain to families living in the United States. She resides in Virginia and is the mother of three adult children.
